Amir Zinati is the co-founder of ITANIZ, a boutique marketing agency in Vancouver focused on strategy, brand, and community-led marketing for service businesses across North America.

His background started in architecture. The work he does now is what he calls social architecture: the intentional design of how people enter a brand, participate in it, and decide to stay. The frame moved from buildings to systems, but the question is the same. How do you design something so that the people inside it want to remain inside it.

At ITANIZ, Amir leads strategy and brand work. He is the face of the agency in client conversations and the writer behind most of ITANIZ's published thinking. The vocabulary he is known for ("social architecture," "membership thinking," "retention is a design problem") sits at the center of how ITANIZ approaches its work.

Outside ITANIZ, Amir mentors founders through ADPList, teaches at university, runs ChangeOffice (a design and storytelling studio focused on space), and is building a private creative community for people working at the intersection of culture, design, and ideas.

He runs regularly with DowRun Club in Vancouver and has built communities across multiple cities. He lives in Vancouver with his wife Mary and their dog Pasha.
